Letters to lost friends
Letters to lost friends is an interactive assemblage built for City Drift Bushwick 2012. All the objects comprising the figure were collected within a couple blocks of the corner where he was installed. Passers by were invited to write a letter to a friend they lost and contribute to the piece. It was a rare oportunity for reflection and mourning among people who might otherwise consider each other strangers. The piece lasted 36 hours before it was removed by the city or property manager.
